Walk-through consultation service,
is when you hire Anna for a walk-through together with you in your property where she gives advice about the interiors of the rooms. It is advised that you bring a pen and paper to write down the information from the consultation. The price for the consultation is 860 SEK/ hour which is a small amount comparing with a full interior architectural service. If you, after the Walk-through consultation, decide to hire us for a full interior architectural design service the time spent in the walk-through consultation will be deducted from the Walk-through service.
Interior Architectural Service,
The design process is divided into 7 stages based on the needs of your project.
Initial Meeting/ walk-through consultation
Core Concept Design
Concept Design Development
Specification and technical detailing
Project Management/ Contractors
1A. Initial Meeting
In the initial meeting we met up outside of the intended site to discuss the plans and ideas of your project in order to get a full understanding of your individual preferences, lifestyle requirements, stylistic ideas, your budget, needs and goals surrounding the project so that we can determine whether or not we are the right designer to help. A client questionnaire may be handed out which you will be able to fill in while in the meeting.
Please note that for overseas clients meetings can be organised via Skype, email and telephone correspondence.
1B. Walk-through consultation
We offer a walk-through consultation on the intended site in which on-spot advice and ideas are given. Please bring paper and a pen to the meeting so that you will get the most out of the consultation and can easily get back to the notes at your preferred time. In a walk-through consultation we will only be consulting ideas, should more detailed concepts be wanted we will be happy to sketch these out for a fee. There is also the alternative after the walk-though consultation to hire us for a full bespoke interior design service.
Walk-through consultation: The charge is only a fraction of the cost to enlist our full bespoke interior design services and may prove helpful for the person who will only want some starting advice for their own home interior project. Should the decision be made after the walk-through consultation to hire us for a full bespoke interior design service the walk-through consultation fees will be deducted from the total design charges.
2. On-site meeting/ Brief
We meet on-site to look at the project. This is the meeting when we go deeper into the stylistic and lifestyle needs of your project. You will have been asked to bring something of value to you that relates to your preferences and ideas of the project. It can be anything from a piece of art, a cut-out from a magazine, an item, a brand, a colour, a bible text, a photo of you and your family travelling or exercising your hobby or anything else that you find relates to your idea of the finalised design. The aim is to provide a service that will bring specialised lifestyle solutions and more comfort to the space and to the people inhabiting or
visiting the space. We will also go through the client questionnaire that has been previously filled in to ensure that we will have the information needed to cover all aspects of the interior design service. A survey will be made onsite.
3. Core Concept Design
We work on a concept based on the information gathered in stage 2. The concept design presentation can include a mood board, sets of plans, illustrations and samples of finishes and furniture. We can work closely with you or independently during this stage of the design process. The Core Concept Design stage sets the foundation for the design outcome of the project.
4. Concept Development
We start the development of the concept once the core aspects have been introduced and agreed upon. A full space planning comprising of
functional and adequately sized living spaces and detailed, bespoke and aesthetically pleasing coordination of personal and lifestyle designs are introduced. We marry architecture with light with interior architecture with form, function and one-off interior pieces. Finishes, furniture and dressing items are sourced and introduced.
If structural alterations form part of the development we will work with architects or structural engineers to detail these.
A whole set of plans and elevations are provided where needed which includes an existing layout, strip-out layout, proposed layout, wall finishes layout, floor finishes layout, lighting layout, small power layout, joinery details and audio visual detailing. FF&E Mood Boards are presented. Computerized 3D drawings can be provided at cost.
* From this stage of the design development you will have the choice to take the presentation provided into your own hands to acquire your own similar designs and products for the project however we would like to recommend that you would let us take your project straight through to the development of specifications and FF&E Procurement and project completion.
5. Specifications and Technical Detailing
If desired we commission full building and decorating specifications for each project. These are highly desirable documents used to detail the works required to the contractor for quotation purposes and to guide the activities of the contractor during the project itself. A deposit of 100% against detailed quotation for materials is required to facilitate ordering.
6. Post Design Involvement
A procurement service is available in which we supply wall and floor finishes, fabrics, furniture, decorative lighting and accessories at trade cost plus 18% handling. A detailed quotation is supplied for the client’s approval prior to the placement of any purchase orders.
VAT – All fees and charges are subject to VAT at the current rate.
7. Contractors and project managers – we work with a number of contractors, bespoke joinerers etc that we are happy to bring on board your project in order to secure a successful outcome of the designs provided.
Contracts – A full design service and a property dressing and styling service is available to property development businesses. We reserve the right to decide the commercial status of any potential project and proof of status will be required.
